WHO I AM
Before we get into wedding photography info, let me introduce myself. Here are a few things about me that I thought you should know:
1. I LOVE my family - I have a teenage son, 10 year old daughter and a golden doodle who constantly keep me on my toes. My wife is pretty amazing too.
2. I’m a sports nut - Love playing them (still haven’t retired from basketball), photographing them and watching them.
3. I built a bar in my barn out of 200 year old wood. the barn is from the 1700’s.
4. I love to cook/bake - Sourdough bread is my thing. I have a pretty sweet pizza oven too.
5. I have a major coffee addiction - 2 kids = CAFFEINE!
6. I don’t sleep much.
7. I play ping pong, cards, cornhole and can dominate an arcade. I can usually break a pop-o-shot record
8. I love fishing from my kayak, camping, roasting marshmallows, and a nice camp fire.
9. I live in a historic house with a big red barn (circa 1740). The house was originally the Thomas Park Tavern. How cool is that!
10. I have a pretty sweet garden. Tomatoes, zucchini, basil, cuccs, peppers, lettuce are the standards for me.
11. I love all things photography and design.
12. I’m a bad speller but I’m married to a teacher who often corrects me.
13. I studied studio art, graphic design and photography at Marist college.
My style
is a combination of photojournalism and natural portraiture. I’m trying to capture moments that will let you relive the story of one of the biggest days of your lives. I’ll be right there with you most of your day, out of the way, but always ready to capture those special moments. My goal is to make my couples unaware of the camera as much as I can, which allows me to capture the real-life moments.
As much as I love the real moments, there is always a time of day when we’ll get you your posed portraits. This includes portraits of the couple, the bridal party and of course, your families. We’ll discuss these sessions beforehand and make sure we schedule time for them in your timeline. I’ll be posing you and putting you in some good lighting, but at the same time trying to keep everything as natural as possible.
Wedding days are a series of moments. There are so many special parts of the day that provoke emotion. Whether it be laughter, tears of joy, comforting hugs, a gentle kiss, looking into one another’s eyes, real smiles, fun, etc., and we’re there every step of the way documenting those moments. This is what I love about wedding photography and I want to capture it all for you.
ENGAGEMENT SESSIONS
Engagement sessions are a lot of fun and that is why I include complimentary sessions in 2 of my Collections! I love getting to see and know the personalities of my couples. That’s one of the best parts of my job. There are so many different connections and personalities and I want to capture yours during the engagement session. Sessions are super easy going, laid-back and it’s a great practice run before the wedding day. The location depends on what you are looking for and what works best for your personality. I would love to help you decide where to go. These sessions last around an hour and a half and are mainly scheduled during the week. Feel free to wear what makes you comfortable. Be yourself. Don’t be afraid to show your style.
SESSION INCLUDES:
1 to 1.5 hour shoot on location in CT area - Travel fee applies to out of state sessions
Online gallery with all edited photos that can be downloaded to your computer
Prints can be made from online gallery as well
There is a travel fee for wedding and engagement sessions outside of CT. Travel fee varies depending on location of shoot. No travel fee for CT shoots.

5 BENEFITS
1. THE FAMILY PHOTOS ARE MUCH EASIER TO ORGANIZE! The family can get the photos done before the ceremony and not have to worry about doing them afterwards. They can spend that time talking with guests and entertaining. Doing the family photos beforehand will move much faster and smoother.
2. YOU GET TO SPEND MORE TIME WITH YOUR LOVE! Some ceremonies are not until 5:00 or later and you won’t see your significant other all day. This will break the nerves early on and you can spend your wedding “day” together.
3. MORE PHOTOS OF THE couple. We’ll have more time to photograph you two. We can do a couple different locations. Couples that do the first look typically end up with twice as many photos of the 2 of them.
4. YOU GET TO ENJOY YOUR cocktail hour! And so does your bridal party and family! This seems to be pretty important to couples these days and who can blame them! So much time and energy is put into making your wedding reception perfect and the cocktail hour is part of that! Doing the 1st look lets you mingle with your guests and enjoy cocktail hour. It also allows us to capture the guests mingling.
5. WE GET TO PHOTOGRAPH THE DETAILS. This will give us a chance to photograph the tables, details and special touches of your reception during cocktail hour, before guests take their seats.
WEDDING ALBUMS
Albums get their own page because that’s how important I think they are.
In an age of digital photography and everything being done online, the power of the album and printed photo sometimes gets overlooked. Print print print! Get your photos printed and get an album made. Flipping through the pages of your wedding album with your kids, grandkids etc., is priceless. Turning page by page telling a story with each image is something I believe is a must.
The album process:
Once I’ve edited all of your wedding photos and sent you the gallery I will start your album design. I will take care of the initial design by selecting the photos and layout. Once that is complete I’ll send you an online link where you can view your album layout. At this point you can leave comments and let me know the changes you want to make, if any. Then once I get the changes made I will send you a 2nd online proof of the album. We’ll go back and forth for 3 rounds of changes until we get it exactly right! I love getting the ball rolling with the initial design and my couples love it too! Albums can be ordered at any time after the wedding. There are 2 different sizes and many different cover color options.

Frequently asked questions
Q. Do we have the rights to make prints from the digital files?
A. YES you own the rights to make unlimited prints, share with friends and family, share on social media, etc. The images are yours.
Q. Can we still make prints through your website?
A. YES definitely. You can make prints directly from the gallery link I send out. There are a bunch of different print options. Anyone you send the link to will have the ability to make prints as well.
Q. Are all of the photos edited?
A. Every photo in your gallery will be edited (color corrected and slight enhancements). You will get a bunch of classic black and white images as well. I love black and white images!
Q. So we want to book with you. What is the next step?
A. The next step is selecting your collection and I will send you my online contract. The retainer is 1/3rd of the collection price. Once the contract is signed and the retainer is received, I am your wedding photographer!
Q. How do we set up the engagement shoot?
A. We can talk about location (I have a ton of suggestions) and we’ll figure out the best time of day to schedule it. If we get a bad weather day we can always reschedule.
Q. Do you have insurance?
A. YES YES YES - I have liability insurance (most venues require it these days). I also have backup gear incase of a camera malfunction.
Q. What is the payment process and do you accept credit cards.
A. I do accept credit cards with a 3% fee and the payment process is as follow: 1/3rd of the collection is due at the signing of the contract, 1/3rd is due 90 days before the wedding date and 1/3 is due on your wedding day.
