I had a photo from a Branford House wedding published in The Knot magazine. Only 1 image, but I'll take it. Love seeing my photos in print. (photo on the right is mine)
A look back : 2014
I'm a sucker for "year in review" posts. 2014 was fun, crazy, stressful, non-stop, exhausting, exciting and amazing all together. We slept very little, ate a real lot, took some new adventures and made a bunch of new memories. I guess that's just life and I wouldn't want it any other way. Here's a random look at what happened in my world in 2014. I always hesitate to separate "business" posts with "personal" posts because to me they go hand in hand. My family is such a big part of what I do in all aspects of my life. So here are some highlights of 2014.
I got to shoot some amazing weddings with some amazing photographers! Thanks to the following for helping me out last year:
Robin | Renee | Adam | Athena | and last but not least my Dad
We caught a snake and a few fishWe ate a ton of food at some of our favorite places! 1 of my favorites is The Engine Room in Mystic CT and of course Pepe's. The Lobster Shack in Branford never dissappoints either.
We watched the Giants get a W (1 of not too many) and got to see our favorite Billy Joel in concert at MSG
Oh did I mention we went fishing? And I bought a kayak.
We celebrated my Noni's 89th birthday!
I shot a beautiful Cape Cod wedding
1 of the biggest highlights was shooting this Steamboat Springs, Colorado wedding!
I photographed my cousin's engagement shoot in Boston and can't wait to be a GUEST at her wedding!
We played in the snow, a lot!
We hung out in Newport, another favorite place of ours.
Ant nailed his lines at his school's "International Day"
I got the chance to spend some quiet, quality time at 1 of my favorite places with my favorite person! Block Island and my beautiful Deana = heaven!
We saw a few characters at Seasame Place. Gia loves them, but only if they stand at least 10feet away from her.
I made the ride up to Plattsburgh NY to photograph a really sweet wedding.
My main man turned 5! and this girl turned 2! Terrible 2's in full effect. Love them both so much.
We said goodbye to 2014
Got to hang out in Rhode Island with my 3 favorite people.
Took Ant to see Jeter 1 last time.
I'm looking forward to 2015 and making more memories with all kinds of people and especially my family - Deana, thanks for keeping life exciting and planning all of our adventures! We wouldn't have these memories without you. You're the best.
Anne Marie & Andrew | Harkness Engagement
This windy December engagement shoot had the perfect winter light and couple. Enjoy and Happy Holidays! Looking forward to 2015.
WEDDINGS | BEST OF 2104
Another year has flown by. The year always seems like a big blur in December until I look back through my photos and take on the tricky job of selecting my favorites. I'm terrible with remembering names and my overall memory might not be the greatest either! Maybe that's why I'm drawn to photography which is the easy way of remembering life. But honestly when I look back through the previous years wedding photos, image by image, I can put myself right back in that particular moment. I remember what I was thinking at that exact second. I can remember the emotion on the subjects face and why they were feeling that way, I can remember the weather, the mood of the moment, the words that were being spoken, or the silence of that minute. I can hear the laughter and the excitement. I can feel the nervous energy. I can feel the love. And that's exactly what I hope I can give to these amazing couples when they look back at their photos. That's the insane power of photography and the job that I'm grateful to have. I say it every year but I feel beyond blessed to have the chance to capture these moments for all kinds of great people. And I couldn't do it if my couples didn't trust in me. And for that I say thank you! And I look forward to 2015. Enjoy a look back at some of my favorite wedding images from 2014. Thanks!

This was the fastest photo shoot in history. It probably lasted 10-12 minutes. The temp was about 15 degrees and the wind was insane. But we pulled off some good stuff. Check it out. HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!
