Here’s a shot Steve grabbed of me taking the formal group shot. It’s great for me to look at these because so often I get caught in the moments and after everything is said and done the day seems like a blur. And I mean that in a good way. During the “formal” session I have so many ideas and angles running through my head its crazy. When I’m not shooting a wedding I’m a pretty laid back almost shy type of person, but as soon as the shutter clicks at a wedding all my nerves and anxiety go away and I enter focused-creative mode.
Sports use to and still have the same effect on me. As soon as I stepped onto the basketball court or baseball/soccer field I was in the zone…focused…and I could be myself.
